Without wasting anymore time, here are my thoughts and predictions from start to finish...
Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho for the United States Championship
[The announcers show a highlight package, focusing on all the major changes in the last few weeks]
Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship
[Charlie is backstage with TJ Perkins]
Charlie: TJ, I need to ask you a question that's been on everyone's mind lately. Why the change of heart recently? And why align yourself with Neville?
Perkins: The way I see it, Charlie, you keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Neville and I see eye to eye on one thing, and that's that neither of us wants to see Austin Aries as Cruiserweight Champion. So I'm gonna do everything in my power to make s...
[Before Perkins can finish his sentence, Aries boxes his ears from behind, and then drops him with a spinning forearm]
Aries: We learned about this in health class, TJ. You might be experiencing some A-double vision right now. Should have stayed in school, kid.
Neville vs. Austin Aries for the Cruiserweight Championship
[Kurt Angle is walking around backstage, and he seems frustrated, as he's approached by The Miz and Maryse]
Miz: Kurt, did you see that?
Angle: See what?
Miz: See what? Are you kidding me? I just got robbed out there, and Dean Ambrose almost caused me to knock out my own wife! Now what are you gonna do about it?
Angle: Look, Miz, I'd like to help you, I really would. But I've been on the job for about a month now, and I'm afraid that I've just got bigger things to worry about. Excuse me.
Miz: Bigger things? What could possibly be bigger than your most must-see attraction getting robbed of what should be his Intercontinental Title? Tell me.
Angle: Oh I don't know, how 'bout Bray Wyatt possibly bringing the WWE Championship over to Raw tonight? And to be honest, I still don't even know if Roman Reigns is even going to make it here for his match.
Miz: Roman Reigns? Who cares about Roman Reigns? Now are you gonna do something about this situation or not?
Angle: You know I wasn't planning on it, but since you brought it up. If you want a rematch with Ambrose so bad, you'll get your opportunity on Raw tomorrow night. And guess what? If you lose, your fired! Now get out of my face!
[The pay per view panel discuss what just happened and talk about what's still to come]
The Hardy Boyz vs. Cesaro and Sheamus for the Raw Tag Team Championships
[Seth Rollins is shown lacing up his boots backstage, as he gets a surprise visit from Dean Ambrose]
Ambrose: Look, Seth, I know you and I have had our problems. But no matter what happened between us, I always respected you, and I know you always felt the same. But I've seen the look in Samoa Joe's eyes, and believe me when I tell you there is no respect there.
Rollins: I've been in the ring with Joe, and I know that you're right. What's your point, Dean?
Ambrose: That's my point. You know what he's capable of. I mean the guy put you on the shelf for six weeks, and almost stole WrestleMania from you.
Rollins: But he didn't. And at WrestleMania, I became the king slayer, when I finally shut the mouth of that bastard, Triple H, and with his own move for that matter. Look, I appreciate your concern, but I wouldn't be here if I didn't know what I was getting into.
Ambrose: I hope you do.
Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe
[Charlie is in the GM's office with Kurt Angle]
Charlie: Kurt, I know that had to be difficult to watch. What are you thinking about right now?
Angle: You know it's a tough situation. On the one hand, I can't punish Samoa Joe, because he technically didn't break any rules. I just hope that Seth is being rushed to emergency, and reconsiders his options.
Charlie: And what about what's still to come? Have you heard anything about the Roman Reigns situation?
Angle: As a matter of fact, I have. As of right now, it appears as though Roman Reigns has been cleared to compete, so I hope that Braun Strowman realizes what he's gotten himself into. And furthermore, I think that Reigns deserves a little bit of, what's this pay per view called again? Oh that's right, Payback! That's why I've decided to make this match no disqualification.
Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship
Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt in a House of Horrors match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in a No Disqualification match
So there you have it. The show should be great in the ring, but I'm not expecting a lot of clean finishes.
Here are my match predictions for the next Raw pay per view, Extreme Rules:
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in an ambulance match
Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins in a steel cage match
The Miz vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship - Miz wins the title back the night after Payback, after Samoa Joe costs Ambrose.
Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor in an extreme rules match
The Hardy Boyz vs. Cesaro and Sheamus in a TLC match for the Raw Tag Team championships - I don't know if they'll do a ladder match so close to Money in the Bank, but since that one's a Smackdown pay per view, I don't see why not.
Bayley vs. Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James vs. Emma in a six-pack challenge for the Raw Women's Championship
Neville vs. Austin Aries in a lumberjack match for the Cruiserweight Championship - All other cruiserweights are lumberjacks.
Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a Texas tornado street fight
